FenCon V - October 3-5, 2008 - Dallas, Texas

.

A Fan-Operated Science Fiction and Fantasy Literary and Filk Convention in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Saturday Programming Schedule

FenCon V Saturday Programming Highlights:

Today is an action-packed array of panels, readings, demos, workshops, concerts, and more than a few surprises. Be sure to check out The Technology in 2001 with former Dallas Futurian and current NASA employee Dr. Al Jackson. You can observe The Jay Lake Effect and Meet Doris Egan. You can learn how to build your own PC with ORAC, Robotics 101 with the DPRG, or learn Armor Patterning for Dummies. Don't forget the Buzz Blaster Radio Play, our Art and Charity Auction, and of course our signature FenCon Cabaret featuring the All-Star Git Down Filksing Hootenanny.

Check out the complete Saturday programming grid below.
(And don't forget about our 24-hour video room and gaming!)

Bonus Saturday Programming:

The array below is so action packed that we've got several special panels that just won't fit the grid. Start the day at 8am with Yoga in Programming 2 led by Mary Crowell and Teresa Powell. (Bring a towel.) At 12pm in the Board Room, it's the Lyric Writing Workshop with Bill and Brenda Sutton. Then at 2pm in the Board Room join Amber Royer for SF Readers: the Next Generation, or How to Get Youngsters Excited about Space. Space is limited for these panels so get there early.
