Saturday Programming Schedule

 

FenCon VI Saturday Programming Highlights:


The Starfleet Region 3 Summit, hosted by FenCon this year, holds its Opening Ceremonies at 9am on Saturday. All are welcome. Starfleet will be holding other panels as well.

Our DIY theme continues with panels on self-promotion for writers and artists, robotics, and LED lighting. Workshop and Demo subjects today include guitar, lyric writing, steampunk costuming, ghost hunting, and Publishing 101 which is presented by Rachel Caine and P.N. Elrod.

Kurt Miller, our Artist Guest of Honor presents a retrospective of his work and we have panels featuring our Special Guests Keith R. A. DeCandido and Howard Waldrop.

Be sure to check out the Yard Dog Press Road show and Gaming! Also, the local science fiction organizations ORAC and IHOD will be holding open meetings today.

The Video Room has a full schedule including Ray Bradbury's Chrysalis and 'The State of the Art' (A BBC Radio 4 play dramatized by Paul Cornell)

Don't forget the Buzz Blaster Radio Play, our Art and Charity Auction, and of course our signature FenCon Cabaret featuring the Masquerade, several surprises, and the All-Star Git Down Filksing Hootenanny!
