FenCon will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel® North Dallas/Addison. This centrally-located hotel is on Midway Road, just north of I-635/LBJ, and in the heart of the Addison restaurant and entertainment district. With newly-updated guest rooms and suites, larger convention facilities, and all the amenities at reasonable prices, we're thrilled to return to this great location. Plus, they offer a complimentary scheduled shuttle to and from locations within a three mile radius of the hotel.

The hotel provides free wireless broadband internet connections to guests in the lounge area and restaurant. In-room access is available for an additional fee.

"How do I book a room at the FenCon rate?"

Whether reserving online or on the phone, you must use booking code FEC to get the special FenCon rate. We have negotiated a rate of just $92 per night for one to four guests in a king or double standard room and just $112 per night for one to four guests in an "executive suite" room. (Suites are now sold out.) These rates do not include the applicable city and state taxes. IMPORTANT: The FenCon room block and rate guarantee ends on September 8th.

"How do I get to the hotel?"

The Crowne Plaza offers a customizable map and driving directions on their corporate website. If you're flying in, while the Crowne Plaza does not offer a free shuttle there are several options available. SuperShuttle offers convenient service for just $18 each way per person from both D/FW and Love Field. Yellow Checker Shuttle offers shared service for $19 each way per person from both D/FW and Love Field. They also offer exclusive service that would be more economical for groups of 4-10 persons.

"Can my group throw a room party?"

We'd love to have you or your group throw a party at FenCon VII but we need to have you register with us first. There's a simple form to fill out that lets you know the rules and lets us know you know the rules. Just e-mail the FenCon hotel liaison at hotel@fencon.org for all the details. Thanks!

"Can we get a suite for our room party?"

There are a limited number of executive suites available each night of FenCon and at just $112 per night they're sure to sell out quickly. As we predicted, our suites are sold out. E-mail the FenCon hotel liaison at hotel@fencon.org for further details.

"I live locally, why should I stay at the hotel?"

• You are supporting the convention. We need to reach a certain number of 'room nights' to keep the cost of the convention space as low as possible.
• It's safer. You don't have to worry about driving home after a long day at the con.
• You have a place to crash during the day, a place to change outfits, and a place to store your many purchases from the dealers room.
