We've had a lot of questions about the hotel issues, what this means for FenCon, and what it means for individual hotel guests. We hope this will be of help.

Q: How do I know if I've been moved to the Doubletree?

A: You should have received an email from the Sheraton. Please check your spam filters in case it got trapped.

Q: I need to modify my reservation at the Doubletree.

A: You should be able to do this once you receive a confirmation number.

Q: I need to modify my reservation at the Sheraton.

A: You should be able to do this via the Sheraton system. If you are unable to do so, please send an email to hotel@fencon.org with your confirmation number and the dates of your stay. We'll forward it to the hotel on your behalf.

Q: I have mobility issues and would really like to stay at the Sheraton.

A: Please send an email to hotel@fencon.org and we will forward it to the Sheraton for their waiting list. They are hoping for some rooms to become available soon. They will let you know if they are able to move you. Sorry, we are unable to expedite this process for you.

Q: How do we get between hotels?

A: There's a shuttle that will run continuously between the hotels. The hotel has told us it will be a coach bus as opposed to a standard hotel shuttle. Currently, these are the hours:

Friday 9am – 1 am

Saturday 8am – 1am

Sunday 8am – 6pm

Q: How will I recognize the bus?

A: It's a 55 passenger charter bus. This will run continuously between hotels.

Q: Where do I meet the bus?

A: At the front entrance of either hotel.

Q: What if the bus isn't available?

A: Ask at the hotel front desk. The hotel shuttles will be available to transport you at other times.

Q: May I drive over to the Sheraton from the Doubletree?

A: Parking is at a premium, so we ask you to reserve the spaces at the Sheraton for hotel guests, day members, and people with mobility issues who were unable to get a room at the Sheraton. Thank you for your consideration.

Q: I have another question.

A: Please contact us at hotel@fencon.org and we'll do our best to answer.
