Make reservations: Our room bloc for FenCon III is officially closed but there are many rooms still available, all of them at the FenCon rate. Call 972-243-3363 and ask for the "FenCon rate" when making your reservation. If they try to tell you that no rooms are available at that rate, make the reservation anyway then call Michael at the number above and he will fix your reservation so you get that wonderful FenCon rate.

FenCon will take place at the Holiday Inn Select® North Dallas. This centrally-located hotel is a bit northeast of the intersection of I-635/LBJ and I-35E/Stemmons. With 379 guest rooms and suites, large convention facilities, and all the amenities at very reasonable prices, we think we've found an excellent location. Plus, they offer a complimentary shuttle bus to and from D/FW Airport and within a five mile radius of the hotel.

The hotel provides free wireless broadband internet connections to guests in the rooms. This service can also be accessed in the bar area and restaurant.

You must ask for the special "FenCon" rate. We have negotiated a rate of just $72 per night for one to four guests in a king or double standard room and just $83 per night for one to four guests in an "executive king" room on the concierge floor. These rates do not include the applicable city and state taxes.

Let's Party: Want to throw a room party at FenCon III? We'd love to have you but we need to know two simple things: First, what is your hotel confirmation number? Second, what night will you be throwing the party? That's it. Just e-mail those two vital bits of info to hotel@fencon.org. This lets us keep the party noise away from folks trying to sleep so the parties can run later without problems with the hotel. Thank you!

• You are supporting the convention. We need to reach a certain number of 'room nights' to keep the cost of the convention space as low as possible.
• It's safer. You don't have to worry about driving home after a long day at the con.
• You have a place to crash during the day, a place to change outfits, and a place to store your many purchases from the dealers room.
