FenCon X - Convention Hotel

FenCon takes place at the Crowne Plaza® Dallas Near the Galleria. This centrally-located hotel is on Midway Road, just north of I-635/LBJ, in the heart of Addison's restaurant and entertainment district. With updated guest rooms and suites, singular convention facilities, and all the amenities at reasonable prices, we're thrilled to once again return to this great location.

Make reservations: Our room block for FenCon X is officially closed but the hotel may stil have rooms available at the great FenCon rate of just $98 (plus tax) per night for one to four guests in a king or double standard room or $119 (plus tax) per night for an "executive king" suite. Reserve by phone at 972-980-8877 or online and be sure to use the FenCon group code FCX when making your reservation. The extended deadline to book at this rate was September 19th but the hotel isn't quite full.

Stay connected: The hotel provides free wireless broadband internet connections to guests in the lounge area and restaurant. In-room internet access is available for an additional fee.

Please note: The Crowne Plaza features free parking plus a complimentary scheduled shuttle to and from locations within a three-mile radius of the hotel. The hotel is 100% smoke-free, including in guest rooms. The hotel does not allow pets unless they are guide dogs or certified service animals.

"How do I book a room at the FenCon rate?"

Whether reserving online or on the phone (at 972-980-8877), you must use the FenCon group code FCX to get the special FenCon rate. We have negotiated rates of just $98 for one to four guests in a king or double standard room and $119 for a limited number of "executive king" suites. These rates do not include the applicable state and local taxes.

"How do I get to the hotel?"

The Crowne Plaza offers a customizable map and driving directions on their official website. If you're flying in, the Crowne Plaza does not offer a free shuttle but there are several options available. SuperShuttle offers convenient service for about $18 each way per person from both D/FW and Love Field. Yellow Checker Shuttle offers shared service for $19 each way per person from both D/FW and Love Field. Both services also offer deals that would be more economical for groups of 5 or more.

"Can my group throw a room party?"

We'd love to have you or your group throw a party at FenCon X but we need to have you register with us first. There's a simple form to fill out that lets you know the rules and lets us know that you know the rules. E-mail the FenCon hotel liaison at hotel@fencon.org for all the details.

"Can we get a suite for our room party?"

There are a limited number of executive suites available each night of FenCon and they're sure to sell out quickly. E-mail the FenCon hotel liaison at hotel@fencon.org to check availability.

"I live locally, why should I stay at the hotel?"

You are supporting the convention. We need to reach a certain number of 'room nights' to keep the cost of the convention space as low as possible.
It's safer. You don't have to worry about driving home after a long day at the con.
You have a place to crash during the day, a place to change outfits, and a place to store your many purchases from the dealers room.
